If you’re looking for good quality dumplings, here are three of my top picks:
1) Dumpling House. It may be overshadowed by the adjacent Din Tai Fung, but you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this eatery. Service is a bit slow, but their dumplings are a hidden gem. 921 S Baldwin Ave, Ste A., Arcadia
2) Luscious Dumplings. The name says it all. Cheap, quick, and yes — luscious. 704 W Las Tunas Dr #4 San Gabriel.
3) Dean Sin World. Handmade balls of goodness from a Shanghainese guru. She’s also the mom of the owner of the Mama Lu’s Dumplings chain + a major dumpling wholesaler. Word on the street (unconfirmed) is that Sinbala gets their dumplings from Dean Sin World. 306 N Garfield Ave, #2, Monterey Park.
