Cafe Maji is literally a hidden gem located on top of the Arcadia Fitness Gym. Walk into the gym, sign in to the left and you’ll be treated to a cutesy, well-lit eatery on the second level. It’s not much — tables are limited, the cafe takes up less than half of the space, and there is the faint smell of chlorine in the air — but their highlights are the bulgogi sandwich and the affogato.
Come here if you’re looking for a juxtaposition to the crowded boba shops in the SGV. The chatter is minimal and it’s just a cute place to be — whether you want to study or round up a couple of girlfriends for a intimate chat. The light wood paneling and large windows will make you feel like you stepped in a airy cafe in Japan.
