Because of health regulations, the stinky tofu in the States just can’t compete with the Taiwanese versions. Tofu King is honestly as close as it gets. Prices are cheap, cash only policy. The English sign reads: “Chans Paris N” (previous occupant) but that’s just because they haven’t gotten to replacing it. Aside from stinky tofu, their menu is reminiscent of a typical Taiwanese street-side vendor: minced fatty pork over rice, vermicelli noodles with pig intestines and Taiwanese sausages.
